About Dr. Yu
Victorino S. Yu, MD
Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Gastroenterologist
A mind for medicine, a heart for people.
“Since I was very young, I wanted to grow up to be a doctor so I could help people. Three decades later, I couldn’t be happier with making gastroenterology my career choice.
“Gastrointestinal problems can be painful and embarrassing. People come to me with great anxiety over these issues, so it’s important for me to make them comfortable talking about their condition. Listening closely to my patients often leads to clues to getting them better and helps me develop their testing and treatment plan.
“People of all ages and from all walks of life can suffer from gastrointestinal problems. What they have in common is the need for expert medical attention personalized to their situation. I will put all of my experience into resolving your health concern and all of my heart into giving you the reassurance and understanding you deserve.”
When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Yu enjoys playing golf, watching movies, listening to classical and country music and spending time with his wife, Laura.
